The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children enlisted Pinkston to help launch its campaign against child sexual exploitation and raise awareness of its new Family Advocacy Division. During the year-long campaign, NCMEC spokespeople appeared on 12 nationally syndicated radio shows and conducted more than 125 radio interviews in 37 states (including 24 of the top 25 markets). A "radio actuality" on back-to-school safety tips also ran in 34 markets. NBC's “Today” show did a week-long series on the issue.
