As vice president for messaging & strategy, Nathan works with our clients to help develop strategic messaging that serves as a framework and touchpoint for our communications initiatives. He also oversees many of our writing and editing projects, including books, white papers, op-eds, messaging documents, media plans, press releases and statements.
Since joining Pinkston in 2010, Nathan has played a key role in communications strategies for a wide variety of clients including Allsup Inc., Choice Hotels International, the Consumer Electronics Association, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library, Smith Electric Vehicles, Wycliffe Bible Translators and many others. His writing and editing on behalf of Pinkston clients has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, New York Daily News, Economist.com, Dallas Morning News, Forbes.com, IBD.com, National Review Online and elsewhere.
Nathan is an accomplished writer, journalist, researcher and editor with a wide range of experience in deadline-driven reporting, news analysis, strategic communications and crisis management. He has written and edited for a wide variety of corporations, non-profit charities, foundations and industry associations.
Prior to joining Pinkston, Nathan was the Capitol Hill correspondent for a national news website and the lead writer for the development team of a national non-profit organization. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland College Park.
