Lauren is a skilled strategic communications consultant with experience in digital media, media relations, political strategy and corporate communications. She takes a strategic approach with clients to determine the best way to share their unique story via integrated, data-informed approaches combining visual storytelling, media relations and digital amplification.

Since joining Pinkston in 2015, Lauren has developed and executed comprehensive strategic plans that position clients as thought leaders in a wide range of issue areas, including finance, decentralized technologies, consumer tech, cybersecurity, justice reform, immigration reform, humanitarian relief and the intersection of faith and politics. She has placed hundreds of stories in regional, national and international outlets including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Associated Press, Reuters, BBC, TIME, WIRED, NPR, CNN, Fox News and others. Over her first three years, she was responsible for placing over 400 op-eds.

Prior to joining Pinkston, Lauren held roles in economic research and ghostwriting in McLean, Va., and Hillsdale, Mich. She studied economics and political thought at Oxford University and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hillsdale College.
