As a Director at Pinkston, Heather is responsible for developing and executing targeted communications strategies for faith-based non-profit organizations.

Heather brings a unique perspective to public relations having worked on Capitol Hill for over five years, where she developed strong relationships with reporters and drove major media campaigns that empowered elected leaders to effectively tell their stories, communicate policy and initiatives, and connect with the American public. She is the daughter of a pastor and has a heart for global, community-centered missions work.

Prior to joining Pinkston, Heather served as Communications Director for several Members of Congress, where she cultivated earned media coverage, regularly pitched and secured interviews on national television and radio, placed op-eds in national and local publications, and strategized targeted news and social media advertising campaigns.

Heather graduated from BIOLA University in Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in English-Creative Writing and a minor in Biblical Studies.
