Michael is a senior account executive who aims to position his clients across print, broadcast, and digital platforms in creative and innovative ways. Michael has placed clients on Good Morning America, Reuters, Associated Press, Boston Globe, NPR, and Business Insider.
Using his background in the news media, Michael brings a unique perspective when he speaks to reporters about his clients. Michael is able to talk to his clients about what they can expect in an interview and how they can answer questions to get a targeted message across. Michael is also able to use his newsroom experience to strategize around which platforms to talk to and how to position a client to that platform.
Before coming to Pinkston, Michael worked for nearly four years in a local newsroom in Richmond, Virginia as a producer and then an executive producer.
Michael graduated from the University of Maryland in 2017 with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. He was recently named to the University of Maryland’s 30 Under 30 list. Michael is a New Jersey native, and he is constantly on the hunt for a good bagel and slice of pizza.
