The Multimedia Specialist position is a strategic role within Pinkston’s Digital Media Division. This role will collaborate with key thought leaders at Pinkston to create innovative client solutions through videography, photography, animation, graphic design, and GIFs. This position will be a catalyst for creatively communicating our client's story while uniquely presenting complex ideas in a simplified deliverable tailored to specific audiences.
Status: Exempt Salaried
Work Location: Falls Church, Virginia
Travel: May require travel to attend meetings, conferences, and trainings across the country.
Create campaigns for a diverse client base that will require the ability to leverage insight gained in the discovery process while remaining focused on understanding the client's perspective and the audience to whom they are uniquely focused.
Contribute to the execution of multimedia campaigns and projects that are regional, national and global in scope
Drive the development of the conceptual and stylistic strategy for the team.
Contribute to building digital and visual products while reviewing and approving the work of others.
Responsible for meeting with clients to discuss performance, propose initiatives, establish priorities and target dates,
Develop creative, innovative and accessible print and multimedia products such as publications, graphics, videography and emerging communication tools.
Capture photographs and videos at events that can be leveraged in communications and marketing products.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years experience or Master’s Degree and 1-year experience.
Experience using tools and software to develop graphics, video, web, or multimedia.
- Knowledge and familiarity with the following social media platforms:
Portfolio of work that reflects the required skills.
Ability to illustrate, capture, integrate and simplify complex client messaging through a simplified and compelling medium.
Capacity to conduct and collaborate in research to support assigned projects and campaigns.
Experience or familiarity with federal defense and health care systems and programs.
